NURSERY All of our baby parrots are handfed from a young age and are socialized and raised right in the center of our home. We do, however, firmly beleive in the importance of leaving the babies with the parents as long as possible. For this reason, we pull our babies at around 2-3 weeks of age so they are able to have the best start possible! The babies are handfed Zupreem Embrace handfeeding formula (specific formula is chosen as appropriate for the species baing handfed.) Our babies are weaned onto fresh foods and pellets. The majority of our babies are weaned onto Zupreem Natural pellets (either cockatiel or parrot depending on the size of the bird.) Our african species (Greys, Senegals, and Red Bellies) are weaned onto Pretty Bird Species Specific African Special.
